Zanetis Power Attachments has launched a new series of milling attachments for backhoe loaders and wheel loaders.

The RoadHog is self-contained with its own engine and hydraulic system. This eliminates any power requirements from the host vehicle and enables it to be mounted on backhoe loaders and wheel loaders above 13,000 lbs. (5,896 kg). It also can be attached using pin-on style or optional quick-attach brackets.

Available in 30-, 40- and 60-in. (76, 101 and 152 cm) cutting widths, it features a 12-in. (30.5 cm) cutting depth capability. In addition, it features a wireless remote controller that activates engine functions as well as hydraulic tilt, depth and side-shift control of the drum.

Power is achieved via a 75 or optional 130 hp (55 or 96 kW) diesel engine.

This attachment is ideal for milling asphalt or concrete, as well as making utility cuts and reclamation or stabilization of base material.

The Zanetis Group has more than 40 years of combined design, manufacturing and marketing experience in the hydraulically powered attachment industry, and has plans for a full line of hydraulically powered attachments which, are scheduled for introduction this fall and next spring.
