Caterpillar
The Cat 995 wheel loader is built to the same size as the 994K it replaces, yet, it features a higher rated payload and 6 percent increase in hydraulic force with equal cycle time to deliver up to 19 percent increased productivity.
The higher payload rating enables a one-pass reduction when loading Cat 785, 789 and 793 Mining Trucks, equaling up to a 33 percent increase in production and efficiency when loading the 785, up to a 25 percent increase with the 789 and up to a 20 percent increase with the 793.
- Up to 11 percent lower hourly fuel consumption and up to 30 percent efficiency gain when operating in Enhanced Eco Mode compared to throttle lock mode on the 994K
- Redesigned, pressurized next generation cab offers 50 percent more legroom, reduced vibration feedback, lower sound levels and automatic temperature control
- Taller windshield provides a 25 percent increase in glass surface area and a 64 percent increase in wiper sweep area improves visibility to the bucket
- Tip up prevention technology avoids unnecessary stress on drivetrain and structures
- Optional Autodig components automates three of the dig cycle's most difficult parts: Tire Slip Prevention reduces rimpull before the tires are set and increases rimpull when downward force is applied; Auto Set Tires detects pile contact and automatically lifts against the pile to set the tires and increase available traction, discouraging premature racking; Lift Stall Prevention manages rimpull in-dig to prevent hydraulic stall when lifting through the face
- Optional Operator Coaching measures and reports on individual operator behaviors that impact efficiency, production and component life
- Optional Payload Overload Prevention allows a larger bucket to be used to achieve pass-match targets without the risk of overload
- All service areas are accessed from either ground level or a platform, improving safety
- 500-hour engine oil change interval and improved air filter life
- Number of steering hoses has been reduced from 15 to 10 and tubes cut from 11 to 1, along with elimination of neutralizer adjustment, to improve serviceability
