Reading Truck Body LLC, a manufacturer of vocational truck bodies, announced that Wm. Craig Bonham has been recently promoted to vice president of sales. Since then, Bonham has been strengthening the sales team with key promotions and new additions.
“Craig brings a level of excitement to an organization that is contagious,” said Brian Nadel, president and CEO of The Reading Group LLC. “His experience within our industry, coupled with his high energy personality and leadership abilities, has made this a welcome transition for our company, as well as our customers. And, in order to continue to meet the needs of our customers, Craig is building a team of well-respected and knowledgeable individuals who understand our business and deliver results. It’s a great way to end the year and get ready for 2014.”
Bonham has been with the company since 1998, holding roles in sales, new business development and training. Adept at building and motivating high performance teams, his top priorities are to achieve business goals on sales and profitability, as well as forge relationships and deliver the best possible experience for customers. In addition, he has strong allegiances with the Reading engineering and operations leaders. He advocates lean manufacturing principles, which have been a key part of Reading Truck Body’s current and future growth strategy.
The team’s new additions include individuals with expertise in managing fleet accounts ? an area where Reading Truck Body anticipates significant growth for the company. To answer that need, Eric McNally has been promoted to director of national accounts. In his new role, McNally will lead fleet sales efforts, focusing on core national private fleet opportunities. With more than 23 years of experience in truck equipment and operations management, he is well-suited to drive the level of performance required by these key accounts, according to the company.
Reporting to McNally will be two new additions. Matt Lichtenstein was hired as national account manager of the southeast. He comes to Reading with more than five years of experience in commercial truck upfit operations for a significant fleet management company. Additionally, Ryan Hauger was hired as national account manager for northeast United States and eastern Canada. He brings more than eight years of diverse sales management experience, most recently leading the sales organization for a specialty vehicle control systems manufacturer.
Also, in an effort to support the company’s continued growth moving forward, Eric Marshall has been promoted to director of distribution. He has been with Reading Truck Body for almost nine years, having held positions including territory manager, director of sales administration and regional sales director of the Mid-Atlantic.
Reporting to Marshall will be Brent Fannin, who was re-hired as regional sales director of the midwest. He returns to Reading after leaving the company in 2011 to pursue opportunities in orthopaedic sales.
The Reading Group owns Reading Truck Body, which has a manufacturing plant in Reading, Pa., along with five additional company-owned installation facilities operating as Reading Equipment & Distribution LLC.
