Aggregate Equipment Guide
J&J Truck Bodies and Trailers, based in Somerset, Pa., has named Walsh Equipment Inc. as its new dealer to serve Western Pennsylvania. Walsh Equipment Inc. will provide trailer and dump body sales and service to Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland counties from its facility at 796 Unionville Rd., in Prospect, Pa., 40 mi. north of Pittsburgh, Pa.
"We're very excited to add J&J to our product line and think it's a great fit for our business and customers," said Charlie Walsh, vice president of Walsh Equipment.
"Just like us, J&J's been in Pennsylvania for over 50 years, which we think says a lot about quality and customer satisfaction. Their manufacturing standards and capabilities are really second-to-none, and like our other manufacturers, they're an industry-leader in their market. For us, having J&J aboard complements our truck equipment business nicely and we're looking forward to a long relationship with the Riggs family and all the employees at J&J," Walsh added.
The entire sales force at Walsh Equipment Inc. will handle the J&J line and Charlie Walsh will serve as brand manager for J&J Truck Bodies and Trailers.
According to Walsh, having J&J's factory within its sales territory as well as Walsh Equipment's service facility is an advantage. Both can be utilized for any service issues and all of Walsh's service technicians are factory trained on a number of hydraulic systems and are poised to assist with any issue that may arise on the complete truck (plow to central hydraulics to dump body to spreader).
