Aggregate Equipment Guide
For the second year in a row, Worldwide Equipment Sales LLC is sponsoring Tow Trucks For Tots — collecting toys for the non-profit orgranization Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle parade.
Last year was the organization’s first year, which displayed more than 240 trucks.
This year Tow Trucks For Tots is expecting approximately 500.
The Worldwide Equipment Sales second annual tow truck parade will take place Nov. 8.
The parade will begin at the Caterpillar plant on Route 6 at 9 a.m.
Attendees must arrive at 5 to 7 a.m.
Tow Trucks For Tots’s goal is to help children by collecting toys for the holidays, to show towing companies in a positive light and educating the public about towing equipment, and to go for the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest tow truck parade.
Last year, Tow Trucks For Tots collected more than six truck loads of toys and $11,000 to help needy families.
Donations are encouaged. All checks can be made payable to: Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade.
Towers are asked to collect toys for toddlers to age 18 and bring them to the parade.
Food and beverages will be provided.
Additionally, Bill Howard and his band will provide entertainment.
